What I Come Across

So last night I went out with some home girls for some beers, conversations and laughs at Mels. Shit was dope. We watched the Lakers wax on the Clippers and had cheap entertainment all around. Now one lady really stood out and was considered the MVP for the night. Meet Lana

This bitch was fucken nuts. Her first words to me were ''Bitch shut the fuck up, you a trick and a treat'' all because she overheard me talking about the Raiders. From there on we were stuck with her. She was funny tho not going to lie. Like literally all I was doing was talking shit to her, love at first sight perhaps? Nah fuck that puta. There was a couple of times I thought she was going to knock my shit out but she didn't so I was cool. Got some footage of Lana, look at her go!

Lana also had a cousin she was with who was falling asleep at the bar because I think she had too much to drink. We called her over and she finally made it up and started talking shit too. I named her Day Day

She was leaning side to side, all saucy and shit. It kinda scared me. We finally got Lana and her cousin Day Day to leave in a cab and be on their merry way.

Word

I'm going to walk around with this and hand out to all the grumpy ass bitter people in the world or the one's who need some positivity in their lives

Cause we all know how far a smile can go. It's what some people need to see every now and then.

Cut Copy

Check out Cut Copies new music video for their single “Need You Now,” from their upcoming 2011 LP. Pretty dope song.

Cool Kids New Single

The Cool Kids dropped their new single yesterday on Green Label Sound. Their new album is titled When Fish Ride Bicycles which will be out this spring, yeeeee! Peep their new single.

Hammerhead

Live every week as if it was shark week.

Banksy At It Again

Seems Banksy isn't done with LA just yet. Some more work has been spotted by the man himself

''This Looks A Bit Like An Elephant'' cleverly uses an abandoned oil tanker as wall space, turning what many considered a piece of junk into valuable artwork. Fucken brilliant. His other piece was this shit

In the form of a kite, a fucken social commentary on the harsh illegal immigration laws we got in California. A family running hand in hand across a yellow diamond, very similar to the illegal immigration caution signs seen along freeways bordering Mexico.

Yeah Buddy

These beauties just came in the mail

Some muh fucken dice! I had to roll with The Hundreds because it's how I do. I'm taking these with me every where I go because you can throw a game of dice down pretty much everywhere. Shit is going to get real grimey.

What Do You See?

I know what I see and that's a dope ass old looking camera.

All I know is that I want to get my hands on that nice looking camera. Fer reals.

Bansky in Hollywood

So last week or so Bansky drawings were found around LA and I didn't post about it because I'm fucken lame I guess but another piece was found in Hollywood and I'm posting that shit.

It depicts a young girl standing in front of a house being boarded up. The one he did a week before in LA was very similar, it was of a boy holding a machine gun in a bed of flowers. Shits dope

Believe In Karma

This shit is way fucken rad. Rudolph R. Resta who is 77 years old lost his wallet in 1971 at the old headquarters of the New York Times. Now he receives his lost wallet, found 40 years later, 40 muh fucken years later!! Old ass pictures and documents were all up in that bitch. I think that shit is way dope. I'm a firm believer in karma and this muh fucker had some good ass karma on his side.

I'd beat fa show. She so fine.

Danny Brown

This guy is dope and he goes by the name of Danny Brown. He's a Detroit rapper who wrote a song about Cartier sunglasses and the danger of wearing them. He also has an asymmetrical haircut, rad bruh. Peep the dope audio.

Scott Caan

When I think of Scott Caan I think of the movie Varsity Blues, American Outlaws and Ocean's 11, 12 and 13. It appears he's actually very talented with a camera. He's been traveling the world and documenting his experiences annnnnnd but of course he has teamed up with The Hundreds! They'll be releasing a series of limited edition tees with Scott's photography smack on the middle of the teeeeeeeee. The release date is February 24th. Available at THLA, THSF and THNY and of course their online shop www.thehundreds.com

The shirts are pretty rad.

Literature

Check this shit out! The group Literature has released their music video for their single ''It's Cruel'' and it's a re-enactment of the famous foot chase scene from the classic 90's film Point Break. If you haven't seen that movie don't talk to me.

Tyler The Creator

Last Friday the 11th Tyler the Creator released his first single ''Yonkers'' off his second album Goblin which is set to release in April. Now let me tell you how fucken raw this kid is. It's amazing because when you watch this video you'd think it would be pretty boring since it's just Tyler on a char in black and white, but it's far from boring. From his mannerisms while delivering his raw lyrics, to EATING and vomiting up a roach, to hanging himself at the end it's actually all pretty visually arresting in how personal and minimal the whole thing feels. OFWGKTA is the future of rap. FREE EARL. Now watch this shit.

Das Racist

With the release of their mixtapes ''Shut Up Dude'' and "Sit Down Man'' in 2010 they have been getting recognition and not just known as funny rap. Spin magazine picked Das Racist as one of 50 acts to watch at the 2010 SXSW festival and in April 2010, MTV Iggy selected Das Racist as one of the "25 Best New Bands in the World." Rolling Stone declared the song "hahahaha jk?" from Sit Down, Man one of the fifty best singles of 2010. So yeah check these putos out. They're mad dope with some sick flows. Here's a rad video so you can get a taste of something.
