Legit

Word on the street is that Radiohead will be releasing a new album next year sometime, no release date has been given yet. They will begin recording in their Oxfordshire studio this winter, according to Ed O'Brien. We all know that Tom Yorke has been spending most of his time in LA where he has been playing a handful of solo concerts with Flea sitting in on bass. But the fact that they'll release a new album next year makes me really really excited because their chart topping album ''In Rainbows'' from 2007 was phucken amazing. Pants dropping good!

Dream Team

So Maestro Knows season 2 has come to and end but I must say his last episode he went out with a bang. I'd say his most comprehensive episode of the season. Maestro speaks of his time spent alongside some of the skate industry’s most iconic figures. I enjoy watching his online series because he keeps it real and strives for his dreams and we get to see it. He's came from nothing but he's now making it into something. He keeps the positivity flowing, which a lot of people forget to do. They get caught up with the money, women, cars and whatever else it is they brag about. For more info check out his site http://www.maestroknows.com/

O.G

Around the 4th or 5th grade I started rocking Pumas haha with the fat laces, but they were sick. As I look through shoes online I came across the Puma Suede 2009 Fall/Winter Collection and I thought to myself, why don't I own a pair of those? They're clean and simple which is what I need. I'll even keep it gangsta and slap some fat laces on them too.

Straight up G's

http://www.allornothingproductions.com/ present ''London to Paris'', directed by Grace Ladoja. The film documents 10 riders from all over the world making the track bike journey from London to Paris. I think it's really cool that random strangers would get together to embark on such a long ass ride together. The bikes are hella legit and I love how one of the guys pours some Guiness in a water bottle, that would totally be me except I'd be pouring some PBR or Stella Artois. Check it out.

Music For Eliana

Last Friday we had our 1st concert benefit for my 4 month old niece Eliana Sofia Georges who was diagnosed with brain cancer 3 weeks ago. She is currently at the LA Children's Hospital and will remain there for the next 7-8 months as she undergoes chemotherapy.

The turnout for the benefit was beyond amazing! We packed the house and had 4 local bands; they rocked the house. It was from 6-9:30 with a $10 minimum at the door, sold t-shirts for $20 and held a raffle with lots of legit prizes and guess how much we made? We gathered $11,250, we were all so amazed with the amount of money the community was so generous to donate towards my niece and her parents. We were all so humbled. Team Eliana is in full force and we are just getting started with benefits/fundraisers. Next one is TBA. Below I posted a link to her actual website where donations can be made as well as the bands that played and the prizes that were donated to us ( a lot we have not used and will use at the next benefit) and the other one is the link to the actual slideshow of the night done by Kacie Jean, she did a great job. Check them out and please feel free the pass on the links to whom ever you want.

Delighted

So with getting a nice size paycheck I decided to finally make my way over to Fuzion on upper State Street. It's been awhile since I was in the store but to my surprise they have turned the store into a really cool space, even took out Tiger Rose and that space is now there water pipe section haha, bongs bitches. Anyhow they now carry Mishka, Upper Playground, Crooks and Castles and a couple other brands. Nice selection of new eras as well. Buuuut I was most stoked on that fact that they had 2 Panzer Rucksack Backpacks from Mishka.

I've had my eyes on that backpack for sometime now but wanted to try it on in person rather then just look at pictures of it on Mishka's online store. Big backpacks don't look good on skinny ass girls like myself. Tried it on and it was like when Cinderella tried on the glass slipper and she was hella excited that it fit, that was me. Go check out Fuzion they're located on 3120 State Street.
