The Suzan

Generally speaking, the Japanese pop music that finds its way to Western audiences is either cartoonishly cute or punishingly noisy. Refreshingly, the all-female quartet The Suzan are neither, I mean these chicks are fucken rad. The all-girl Suzan mine garage rock, pop, new wave, surf rock, riot-grrrl, and even gypsy folk for inspiration. The Suzan were discovered on Myspace by Bjorn Yttling (of Peter Bjorn and John) and they became the 1st traditional rock band to be signed to A-Trak and Nick Catchdub's Fool's Gold record label. You getting the picture or what? This is their video from their single "Home'' off their album Golden Week For The Poco Poco Beat. The video is way radical BRO.
