Two weeks ago me and my girlfriend went to go see Bon Iver at the Santa Barbara Bowl and it was fucken beautiful. Bon Iver was really really good live and our seats were lovely. The Santa Barbara Bowl is such a dope venue, there's no bad seat in the house.

Dante Ross
This video is short and simple. Dante Ross has teamed up with WeSC to release a set of dope headphones. Dante shares his thoughts on music and traveling throughout the city with a pair of headphones and how they are such a fashion statement. Whether you're on a train, bus or airplane it's key to have your favorite tunes playing so you get a good clean start on your day. Word. Music is key for me.

I Just Don't Know
Carlos Santana's new album ''Guitar Heaven'' comes out September 21st

For his lead single he teams up with Nas. I guess his album will feature a nice list of guest vocalists to perform on every track. I listened to the track with Nas on it and I'm really not impressed. Actually I feel that Nas fucken kills the whole thing along with the back up singers. It sounds like a fucked up action hero themed song. Don't get me wrong Nas is dope but I feel not for this type of collaboration. I also know it's an AC/DC cover, who cares it could be better. Carlos Santana's guitar skills are on another level and when he does solo instrumental sets, for me that's when I really feel his shit not with someone rapping over it. Check out the track and let me know what you think because Carlos kills it Nas umm nahhh. Yes, for once I want to know what you think.

SEASON OF THE SICCNESS
Alright I've been MIA from my blog for a bit but let me tell you a little something something. I've been keeping tabs on a legit musician from Brooklyn and he goes by the name of Theophilus London. This guy is fresh to death with swagger for days. His lyrics are smooth and it's something you could chill to and sip on a 40 oz and be like ''hell yeah'' head nodding and all that jazz. Anyhow he came out with his 1st mix tape titled ''I Want You" hosted by Va$htie It's pretty fucken amazing. If you're looking for some new tunes I highly suggest checking this kid out. Here is my favorite song from the mix tape "Souls of Fire''

Oh Shit
This hat is fucken dope and clean. I gotta get my little mexican hands on this snapback.

After a successful collaboration with Hip-Hop group U-N-I and Hella Tight they produce their 2nd run of this classic snapback called ''Land of The King's'' cap. I like how their focus this time around was that like LA style throwback look. Paying a nice little tribute to the Kings of the 90's. The hat is now available at the brands site www.hellatight.com/#.com

Old Memory
So as I sit at my house trapped inside from all the rain we've been having I couldn't help but start you tubing a bunch of videos, whether they be comical, music or random weird shit and of course getting caught up in the music category because it's what I love. All excited I start looking through a bunch of groups; Digitalism, Moving Units, Yelle, Ratatat and so on. I guess you could say I was getting my daily electro fix. I get to The Presets and bam I take a walk down memory lane. You want to know why? Well last April me and Justine saw them live at The Glasshouse in Pomona and it was literally one of the best shows I've been to in a while. Way better live I'll tell you that. We went ape shit for a good couple of hours. I highly recommend them. This one song stood the fuck out to me. Always and forever baby. Enjoy

Humdrum Town
Theophilus London deliveries his newest video single, Humdrum Town. Clearly an ode to the 80s including Karaoke jams, distinct haircuts and a fly moped the video boasts unique creativity that leaves us waiting for more material from this talented Brooklynite. He kinda sounds like Kid Cudi, don't you think?

In Love I am
This video was shot entirely with a Canon 5D Mark II, it's pretty phucken legit. I heard about Cinnamon Chasers through a friend and completely fell in love with them. Cinnamon Chasers is the solo project of Russ Davies, a nephew and son of Ray Davies and Dave Davies, the two founding members of The Kinks. Check them out.

NYC Edition
Ever since Levi Maestro aka Maestro Knows hit the streets in New York for his NYC Edition this is by far my favorite episode from the series. Interviewing and kicking it with Jonathan Mannion who in the photography world has done amazing work and has captured some of the most iconic pictures in the music industry. Check it out.

Legit
Word on the street is that Radiohead will be releasing a new album next year sometime, no release date has been given yet. They will begin recording in their Oxfordshire studio this winter, according to Ed O'Brien. We all know that Tom Yorke has been spending most of his time in LA where he has been playing a handful of solo concerts with Flea sitting in on bass. But the fact that they'll release a new album next year makes me really really excited because their chart topping album ''In Rainbows'' from 2007 was phucken amazing. Pants dropping good!

Music For Eliana
Last Friday we had our 1st concert benefit for my 4 month old niece Eliana Sofia Georges who was diagnosed with brain cancer 3 weeks ago. She is currently at the LA Children's Hospital and will remain there for the next 7-8 months as she undergoes chemotherapy.

The turnout for the benefit was beyond amazing! We packed the house and had 4 local bands; they rocked the house. It was from 6-9:30 with a $10 minimum at the door, sold t-shirts for $20 and held a raffle with lots of legit prizes and guess how much we made? We gathered $11,250, we were all so amazed with the amount of money the community was so generous to donate towards my niece and her parents. We were all so humbled. Team Eliana is in full force and we are just getting started with benefits/fundraisers. Next one is TBA. Below I posted a link to her actual website where donations can be made as well as the bands that played and the prizes that were donated to us ( a lot we have not used and will use at the next benefit) and the other one is the link to the actual slideshow of the night done by Kacie Jean, she did a great job. Check them out and please feel free the pass on the links to whom ever you want.

Fame Kills
Kanye Bitchassness West and Lady Gaga are going on tour together, which is called ''Fame Kills'' starting November 10th in Phoenix and ending it January 24th in Dallas. It's funny how he teamed up with Lady Gaga since she's a freak and so is he. I mean their over the top personalities should be interesting. I personally would go just to see what she'll do next or what she'll come out in next. As for Kanye I could care less about dropping a pretty penny on him. His next cd has to be better then his 1st, 2nd and 3rd in order for me to buy that shit. I'll poop on Kanye and I'd probably just smack Lady Gaga in the face, a love tap if you will. Word
