I Love Babies

Dayyyyum this must be my long lost son that I never knew I had because he got it from his momma. No but seriously, I want to challenge this little kid to a dance off because we all I know I got dance moves for days, I invented the pop lock and drop it.

Poolside Poser

So I came across the Warriors of Radness Spring 2010 collection and I really didn't care for what I saw. It has that vintage surf fashion feel to it which can be cool I guess if you live in like Malibu or phucken Laguna Beach with LC, Steven and Jason Ex coke head Wahler. The outfits would def need to be spiced up with some legit kicks and the hundreds new era fitted caps. The brand offers bold neon color shirts, slogan shirts, windrunners, color denim, washed out denim (my favorite piece of it all). Seriously tho the photo shoot for their lookbook sucked tremendously big balls even bigger then Cisco Adler's. All they did was have a semi cool wait I take that back he was a tool looking blonde male laying on a lawn chair in almost the same pose, all he did was change the position of his legs, what a tool right? Wouldn't you think they'd change up the scenery at least, shit looks hella low budgeted, and the faces this kids making are awkward as fuck.

Did I not say his face was awkward
Really? He couldn't act a little bit harder then that
That position is a little gay not going to lie
I'll go easy on this one since the shorts are pretty cool

60+

Today Jordan Brand released theri latest hybrid sneaker, dubbed the 60+. The kicks, inspired by Michael Jordan's 60+ point performances, features a mash up of 5 celebrated classics into a new 3/4 cut basketball sneaker. This ill mannered sneaker is available in the classic Chicago Bulls black/red/white. Personally we all know MJ was the man back when he hooped it up, he set the standards for legit basketball players, now everyone is striving to be better then MJ.

Theft Proof Bike

Apparently the olympic cyclist Chris Boardman showed off his unique bike design which he not only says will be common in 20 years but is also theft-proof and features puncture-free tires. It has a complete carbon fiber body with a built in locking anti theft mechanism which can only be activated by the touch of the bike owner's fingerprints. Additional features include a calorie monitoring system, battery powered assistance and aforementioned puncture free tires that have the ability to self inflate. All that just seems too much for me I mean don't get me wrong all those features are hella sick (and yes I did just say hella, what) but serio can't we just keep the good ol fashioned bikes? All this high tech shit freaks me out before you know it we'll be waiting for robots to wipe our ass after we take shits.

This Can't Be True

Well well well phucken Pee-Wee Herman is making a come back, he will go on stage this November at The Music Box theater in LA. His Pee-wee suit and tie better be ready for this shit oh and how could I forget those cool clean white shoes that never managed to get dirty. I guess the on stage version will be just like that Saturday morning classic I grew up watching in the mornings and it will include all the rad characters, like Miss Yvonne, Mailman Mike, Cowboy Curtis, Jambi the Genie, Chairry, Pterri the pterodactyl, Conky, Randy. Hell yeah I know all those characters I mean I was in his fan club, obsessed I was. Christmas of 88 I got his bike in the scooter form, it was too effin legit wished I still had it. I was officially the coolest kid on the block ya digg.

Wished I had an actual picture of it, but just picture me rolling on that at the age of 5. Dayyyyyum

Family Tradition

Another fiestas has come and gone through SB once again and this marked our 15th anniversary for my family being in the children's parade on Saturday. Our float was made back in the day by my uncles and aunts and it's done us some good over the years. We've only missed like 2-3 fiestas. It has over the years began to be a Munoz family tradition, with my aunt tina (graphic designer) making shirts for my uncles to wear and shirts for the primos and primas. My uncle Mark hooked it up with a nice sound system so we be playing all those jams you hear during fiestas. We 1st started off with like 8-10 of us on the float keep in mind I was in like 4th grade and now we have 18 plus 2 great grandkids, effin mexicans right we always roll deep. Anyhow I've graduated from sitting on the float and I now walk along side with the mommas and practice my chanting. Another successful year down. Was a great turnout. Loves me some family.

The Start of the float being put together without any of the decorations on yet

The start of putting up the bougainvillea

Little Shey Shey, we had a lot of babies on the float this year, must be something in air with all these pregnancies

The more flowers the better it looks, trust

See what I mean about the more flowers the better

The tradition continues

And just like that, we're off for that 6 block walk
