We haven't been particularly close recently, but at one time we were inseparable. You were a lifeline that got me through countless bouts of boredom, and I'm talking about my friend Sony Walkman

Yesterday, Sony announced it was ceasing production of the Walkman in Japan, and while a relatively scant amount will still be sold stateside, the death of it has arrived. This is a sad sad day for myself along with I'm sure of many others. Sony walkman's were dope and shit, I mean I got my 1st one while in elementary and I felt all fucken independent. Even tho I haven't used a walkman in years don't mean shit! I still have that little fucker and I'll never throw it away now. RIP
